the last couple of minuates really killed us. JVG isn't known or good for game plan that are not planned ahead of time.

why alston instead of synder? what is alston there for, when tmac is the playmaker and has the ball in his hand?

I can't say we gave away the game, cause Dallas wasn't any better from the line than we were. It came down to poor execution at the end. It was horrible. Tracy didn't get the ball in the final few possessions. Luther Head made a very nice drive at the end, but his decision making showed when he failed to realize the defense closing on him and Tracy was open. In turn he took an ill-advised layup.

I don't understand why every team doesn't double team McGrady in the final minutes like Dallas did. Force Rafer or Luther or Juwon to create offense with the game on the line.
I think the Rockets can expect to see a lot more of this tactic, at least until Yao returns.

Is it possible to teach players how to drive the lane and create contact? Either our coaches can't teach it or our guards can't learn it. And Head who can dunk does his second of the year. Rafer who cannot dunk usually does his 2nd POS floater in the lane for nothing by the 2nd quarter OF EACH AND EVERY GAME! And no contact!

Have these guys not watched every fool in the NBA run into Yao inside the arc and get foul shots?????

JVG - lost cause. He will coach us the same vs. Portland and then vs. Dallas. He coaches his system, and not to matchup vs. the other team. The other team is supposed to realize this and then adapt their game to lose to JVG's system. This works well vs the chumps of the league, but not against the elite.

Because he stinks and the two things that the Rockets didn't need more of last night were turnovers and poor shooting.

No. Idiotic posts such as these are the reason why so many posters avoid the board for days on end after losses. V-Span doesn't play because he isn't good enough. Period.

What he did in Greece doesn't matter. What he thinks he was in Greece doesn't matter. This the National Basketball Association, in the United States of America. If he wants more playing time, then he must earn it. The only thing worse than V-Span's whining has been the constant b****ing and moaning by people who honestly believe that he's ever going to accomplish anything in this league.

Because JVG hates vspan and would rather play his golden boy Rafer. If vspan plays we win that game.
