t-mac over bradley was better because of the way he landed. That dunk was all right, but Baron didn't "ride" kirilenko like T-Mac did to Bradley.
jumping too late is not the reason ak47 didn't block it. look at the slow motion replay they jumped at the same time. there's no reason for him to jump earlier than Baron not knowing what his move would be.
Baron's hand in ak's face didn't hurt things either. Thats not taking anything away from what Baron did... that was amazing, but i think the 360 was even more amazing. Also the layup that he had in the 3rd quarter where he got passed fisher and was bumped and then ran into Okur but still made the shot even though he was fouled twice without it being called.
Yao did score 15 points in the 4th quarter, so its not like our offense struggled in the 4th. Simple fact is we gave up 103 points. Rockets dont win games when they give up 100 points.
Tracy shot the ball too much, from outside. His shooting was one reason we tanked in crunch time of games 6 & 7. He needed to do like BD and attack the basket and dare the other team to stop him, but I guess Tracy doesn't do that anymore except on rare occasions. He usually takes the easy way out and pulls up for jumpers.
T-Mac had his moments attacking the basket this year in the playoffs, but for the most part, everything was soft layups. Don't get me wrong, a lot of those layups were incredible, but if he dunked it with authority, it probably creeps in to the mind of jazz defenders and possibly opens up later opportunities. We needed that T-Mac with emotion that drove by Dirk and dunked on Bradley, but we didn't have it this year. ... and Sloan was an idiot for not pulling his starters earlier than that. The game was absolutely out of reach, and he didn't sit them until after that play. Ak-47 was getting into his groove these past couple games too after not being that great against us. If he disappears for the rest of the playoffs, everyone will be able to pinpoint that moment like the Pujols bomb against Lidge.
That's it. That was the play of the game and probably of the series. Golden State to win the next three and close it out in 6
