He registered the domain with Go-daddy, he should've stayed there for hosting.

You also had a year to get things done yourself, like learn some technical knowledge or hire a professional to do it. I understand that you are upset, but you're acting like this helpless and hopeless victim when that isn't the the whole truth. You've been a member here long enough to know that people will have various opinions and you're not going to get a complete pity party for you here. What I do know is that if you really had to tell "thousands of people" you didn't file bankruptcy and if you lost a whole year of internet sales all because of your website working.... then you are an idiot and don't know how to run a company.

First mistake:

Counting on someone else to set up your site for free as a favor when you have thousands of customers.

Second mistake:

After not being able to reach the designer for a YEAR, failing to hire someone else to fix your site costing you a years worth of sales and losing customers.

You guys should be able to work this out, where Emore gets up and running on a hosted server he pays for, and Omer gets compensated for his work.

Emore - just get the source and hire a web designer, it is not that hard to do, nor expensive....

Wow making a post within an hour of New Year's about this? It's time to start the new year off fresh by paying a little more for someone to help set you up and teach you how to run the site (not too complicated). Then if there are more website problems, you have someone more accountable to go to.
