    Deng would put this team over the top and allow Harden to play his natural position(point guard).

    This team needs another perimeter defender. Deng is an all-star. Getting him, while maintaining Parsons, Harden, Howard would be incredible.

    Looks bogus. Several "according to reports" and "according to Fox Sports", yet no actual link to anyone actually reporting it. In other words, someone is either outright lying/trolling for page hits, and/or referring to a Sam Amico chat or tweet. Which is the same thing.

    Not sold on the credibility either...

    but RE: the balloon payment, what scared off the NYK and Bulls respectively was the cap hit which would do double damage in luxury tax. If they were to pick up Lin or Asik tab now that is no longer a (major) factor against the luxury tax

    But I think the hawks would like to have Asik,Problem is they probably would Not trade Millsap because that would Leave them with no PF,I assume a 3 Team trade may happen

    I looked at the roster for ATL to see if I could construct an Asik trade because I doubt they will give up Milsap.

    They don't have much outside of him. Schroeder is a nice prospect. Korver has a 4 year deal at about 7 million. He would be great for us but that is expensive IMO. Hopefully we can get a good draft pick if we decide to trade with ATL.

    ...and the pressure builds. Now Morey needs to keep letting little rumors slip about negotiating with the Nets. And the longer he drags it out the more desperate teams like the Nets and Hawks become as the Hawks know the Nets are going to bend over backwards to make the playoffs and ATL has started off well enough that they really don't want to tank. Celtics, on the other hand, are ringing their hands watching Asik walk away to one of their competitors if they don't up the ante.

    LOL, that dumb Morey, imposing a deadline and then failing all over the place. LOL

    So this means Millsap is totally out for our trade scenarios.

    Who would they even trade to acquire Asik? Brand, fillers, and 2014 Nets pick/Noguiera? Does that Nets pick have any protection on it?

    Agree with Xiki but I would just take Milsap and not require a first.

    I could probably be talked into trading 2014 first+DMO+Asik for Milsap alone.

    Why would the Hawks trade Millsap now? He's healthy and they need a center and they are 3rd in the east.
