What makes you convinced this trade puts us over the Clippers who will most likely be our first round match up this season? These are two bench players who won't be able to make up a 20 point deficit and I would hate to see Bass guard Blake Griffin. Then we have the Spurs, Thunder, and Blazers to worry about in the second round. I said years to come because we have no other chips left and it's back to mini MLE signings, vet mins, and late draft picks to get better. Truth is, you guys are homers and believed we would be instant contenders once we landed Dwight. How many games do we have to lose to bad teams for you guys to realize the we are not their yet. Even Morey admitted we are happy if we make it to the second round and anything after is just a bonus.

Btw, I hope we trade Donatas as well.

At this point ill take one of Charlottes first round picks, rotation players would be cool,but even 1 good pick would be better than some rotation players IMO.

#Celtics will send Brandon Bass, Courtney Lee & a 1st round pick (not 2014) to the #Rockets for Omer Asik. Deal is close to being finalized.
