Ughhh Asik is not a team player, I hope Morey trade his ass soon. I don't want anybody on the team who doesn't want to be here. Be gone Asik!
We don't need no stretch 4 or anything like that we need another big to do what Omer was suppose to do but with more offensive game the only reason why the TT didn't work was because we can't give the ball to asik in the post the way we do with dwight sometimes so we need a big like omer but with more offensive game

These comments aren't helping. Everybody knows he didn't take his removal from starting lineup well. But why is he not playing? Is it because he refuses to play (kind of like Royce White) or is it because the coaching staff is disciplining him for his attitude? <iframe style="display: none;" allowtransparency="true" id="rufous-sandbox" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>
Don't know if I'd say Lin "embraced" it more than he came to terms with it. That and Lin has always been a team first guy. Unlike some of the fans, he doesn't give a hoot about his own personal box score as long as the team wins. It's part of why nearly all his former team mates and coaches love him so much. The guy nearly always puts the team ahead of his own ego.
The Lin situation is totally different. Lin was going to play with Beverley quite a bit and was going to get 30 mpg or at least close to it even off the bench. If Asik is put on the bench for the specific reason that the Asik+Howard frontline doesn't work well together, then he's not gonna play any more than 13-15 mpg. Lin may be a team first guy but if he's being asked to only play 13-15 mpg I imagine he'd be upset and may well ask for a trade, too. Probably won't quit playing while the trade request is pending, though.
I think if Lin was truly East Asian (and he is) he would probably suck it up and play his 15-20 minutes until the end of his contract/tenure being traded. Those Mediterranean guys are impulsive, are short-tempered.
Lin is American. He can barely speak mandarin. No he wouldn't suck it up. I think he's sick of sucking it up.
Haha I think people were always underestimating the heart of a fighter and conqueror. Turks went on a rampage in history. Ă–mer went home to his family. And they told him to fight for his starting spot. It's in his nation's honor.
