Great fit. Would rather have Josh Smith and his defense, but Anderson would be lovely next to Dwight.

Ryan Anderson is pretty underrated. He can rebound hit 3pointers and has post moves. He isn't a chump on defense either. I wouldn't be mad if that went down.

I would like this more than Josh Smith. We need a PF who can SHOOT EFFICIENTLY. Plus we will probably get more draft picks.

Morey is building a dynasty folks. You don't do that by making a 1 for 1 trade. We want draft picks to sustain excellence because that's what Morey is great at.

Not to mention that we already have our own version of Josh Smith in Terrance Jones...

A lockdown defender at 4 or a deadly perimeter shooter?

    Really difficult to decide...

    I'll take Anderson/jrue for asik/lin...

But in reality, jsmoov is the better overall talent but Anderson us the much better fit.

Agreed, Anderson would be a near perfect fit, but Asik is far better than he is, so they would have to give up something else.

If the Pelicans pull off this trade, they would be awesome defensively with Asik and Davis at the 4 and 5.

Umm didn't he already pair up with Howard in Orlando? What's so special about this guy? Seems like a one dimensional shooter. I'd prefer a more 2 way kind of player. This guy screams role player to me, that's not what i'd prefer at this point given Asik's value.

What if we traded Asik and Lin for Grevis Vasquez and Ryan Anderson? That would be a fair even trade and we get two more shooters for our line up.

I kind of prefer Anderson, would leave us a lot more cap space for future moves and outside shooting would be great.

I'm not sure either. I think Omer value is to high for a straight trade. Maybe a 3rd team involved to get some more back.

His contract is fair, and he's actually younger than Asik so he'll fit in with the core nicely. I too however think that Asik has more value, so let's see what New Orleans includes in the package to sweeten the deal...

Misleading title again, said nothing about discussions going on, just another team interested.

Have to say Anderson is slightly more in Maury mold as a player (than J. Smith) and also will need/demand fewer touches to stay happy.
