    Omer deserved it.

That said, a LOT of guys have deserved it more and haven't gotten warned.

The fact that CP3 and Blake Griffin haven't even been fined once for all their flopping this season is an absolute injustice.

The fact that Rubio and Little JJ haven't even been fined once for all their flopping this season is an absolute injustice.

The fact that LBJ and Wade haven't even been fined once for all their flopping this season is an absolute injustice.

The fact that XXX and OOO haven't even been fined once for all their flopping this season is an absolute injustice.

But I have to say the rule has worked to some degrees compared to last season. I hate floppers.

Omer was trying to protect himself since he's been hit in the face/nose so much. I don't blame him at all.

The people that look at the videos and make judgements may want to consider a player avoiding possible contact...and his injury history.

Completely sends the wrong message when omer gets fined and the chris oauls and blake griffins of this world only get warnings, if that.

As usual the league only goes after the softest targets to make it seem like theyre enforcing the rules.

He hasn't been himself. He has a great game against Duncan and the Spurs and then this happened.

I'm not happy Asik was fined but at least the league looks like their doing something. As bad as the flopping has been in the past it has been getting worse. If the NBA can nip it in the bud now we can avoid what soccer has become.

I say they are targeting him because of his ethnicity and status, if he wasn't going against Duncan and the incident happened exactly the same he probably wouldn't have gotten the fine.

I guess the NBA is trying to fundraise just like the NFL with their fining policies.

I absolutely agree with this. Did Omer embellish a bit? Yes. Was it a legit foul? Absolutely! Would Omer have gotten the call (which was legit) with out embellishing? Hell no!

Every team that plays the Clippers should have this running on the scoreboard during pregame warmups.

yeh... as much as I love the anti-flopping agenda, it seems it should only be used vs players that aren't legitimately getting fouled. Omer did act, and that sucks but truth be told it wouldnt have been called if he didn't make it obvious... and it already WAS an obvious foul by Duncan.

I think they went after Asik just because they knew there won't be as much of a backlash.

NBA is a joke. Their referees are jokes. A lot of joke calls. A lot of so-called super stars flopped all time and never got warned one...

The cops let all the cars flying by at 100 miles/h on highway with 65 speed limit, then stopped Asik for driving 75 miles/h and gave him a ticket.

They didn't do anything wrong to stop Asik, but ...
