Olympics: What events should be added? Subtracted?

    I've always felt any sport that doesn't primarily depend on human muscle or physical ability should be taken out. So all the equestrian events should be taken out, especially dressage (dancing horses) which combines the worst features of the artistic events with the fact that a horse is doing most of the work.

    I would like to see Pancration put back into the olympics. This was one of the original Olympic sports in the ancient games and was a mix of boxing and wrestling. Sort of like the mixed martial arts we see now popular now in the UFC.

    Well that is changed with the new scoring system. It is a lot more fair, less about what the judges like and dislike and more about whether you executed the move or not. After that Chinese pair won the silver the other night I took a look at the new scoring rules. :cool:
