By the way, I strongly believe steroids should be legal, and so should driving on both sides of the road as you wish.

I am 35 and lot of people say I look only 18. Fxxk, I am real scared now.

Sacramone pulled a Chris Simms and we lost.

These girls are lucky they weren't aborted b/c they weren't males.

If you are biatch moaning about Chinese doping, you gotta be kidding me. You don't need to take drugs to play Pingpong, badminton, or diving. You have to cut my head off not to believe swimming, track and field, and cycling are clean. And guess who gets most medals from those sports.

Notorious East European Karolyi and his wife must be experts in all kinds of cheating, who only had cheating in his murmuring on national TV, as he confessed how they cheated in East Europe all the time.

Chinese swimmers using doping were banned in China as well. However, in US, Jones was national hero, and featured anti-doping and fair-play role model. US is very advanced in sports medicine, so I guess it was really hard to find out what Jones and her husband were using. Joyner died of heart seizure at a young age, and lots of question marks were behind her looks and muscles and the sudden death.

Michael Phelps is a swimming wonder, people around the world, including Chinese wish him do well and continue the miracle. Breaking world record with 4.5 seconds is hard to believe, but you better believe it unless you have official evidence. I can’t watch CCTV, but you as a China expert please remind me whether Chinese professional analyst/coaches were running with “I believe he’s cheating” lines.

You see the difference here? When Chinese basketball team lost to Spain in overtime, Chinese players and fans thought they didn’t play well enough. When US gymnastics team lost, ex-coach or coach’s husband came out to blame the judging system and ran with “I believe they are cheating, although I know the position of IOC and FIG”. When US won in 2007, they loved the judging system; but when they lost, it’s the system that left lots of room for cheating. Pseudo fans like yourself – they look young, they are short, they didn’t even go to the edge, the judges helped them, blah blah blah.

All 40+ of them - all within a short period of time. The systematic nature of the cheating, and the rapid rise and fall of Chinese swimming, is one of the greatest drug scandals in the history of athletics. Shameful.

Yes - China's cheating is systematic and institutional.

Chinese swimming doping scandal was shameful for the nation's sport image. No doubt about it. As a result, China has improved a lot in anti-doping effort, so they could come clean afterwards.

However, Jones was the featured anti-doping and fair-play role model in US. Glorious!

You mean the use of steroid in college football in the 80's is not systematic and institutional? You have never failed to amaze me.

nobody cares about Jones here - unlike China which has only had one track star ever we have had hundreds of them.

Our legacy of champions is so deep and wide it is an embarrassment . . . of riches.

Nothing to feel shame about. It's whether you are caught or not. All of them are doped. The sports history is history of making enhancement drugs one step ahead of detecting them.

Wow... everyone needs to take a deep breath. LOL the games are supposed to be about good will between nations, not turn into a bash fest.

Do I think the Japanese girls look just as young as the Chinese girls? Absolutely.

Do I think there should be an age limit? Nope not at all.

Did the Chinese women earn their gold? Absolutely.

Is there problems with the judging system? Of course, there are problems with every governing system in sports. The goal is to make them obsolete and win anyway.

Peace and happiness, the US and China are both going to win a lot of medals, we can all be joyous and love it! :)

Isn't the whole idea of sports to watch people compete and outdo one another?

Heck for one olympics let the Chinese out medal us... I don't care... we will have home court advantage in 2016 if Chicago gets the bid (please please let Chicago get the bid I wanna go!!)

What does whether you care about Jones have anything to do with what real_egal said? You once again tried to stray from the topic to keep your argument alive.

No, USATF is disorganized and does nothing except for hold the trials and pick the uniforms - the athletes are left on their own.

what topic, the underage chinese girls? My young friend, you have dragged the topic away from these pre-pubescent pixies into the realm of track and field, which I am happy to say I have helped make America a great nation in.

That's good sport, and what sports is supposed to be. Like I said in another thread, with medal heavy swimming and track & field, I don't think China can out-medal or out-gold-medal US. But it's fun to watch competition at the highest level. Unfortunately, certain character has to spoil every single China related thread with his/her trolling.

Was the college football programs in the 1980's also the same disorganized? Yeah, I guess the freshmen kids just bought steroid from their dorm neighbors with their lunch money.

The USOC doesn't pick it's crop of four year olds every year to compete in the Olympics 20 years in the future. American athletes get to these levels on their own, there's no conspiracy. If they use drugs, that's their choice.

What does picking future athletes have anything to do with the performance enhancing drugs problem in the sporting world?
