That would be seriously low and after missing black Friday, your next chance for drastic sales will be when new models hit the market in spring.

What TV do you have now?

Not church of anything lol, next year OLED and QLED will be the suckers behind Mini LED anyway.

Hence why I tell ppl to wait for 2021 if their TV isn't broken atm.

There is still hope for you, @tinman was once a member of the Church of Sony Wega CRT. Replacing lamps, crap viewing angle uniformity.

    Excellent mounting height.

Get a mantle mount. It sits up above your fireplace but can be pulled down to eye level, giving you the combination of the tv looking good above the mantle when you are not watching it or when people are over but it can be pulled down to eye level when you want and can be positioned at any point in between

Need to get a new TV, budget around $500 and wanting something like a 58"-65". Split between watching movies and sports. My daughter has a Vizio and my other daughter's boyfriend has a TCL, so open to both those brands even though I have had Sonys and Samsungs in the past and liked LGs I have seen in the stores. Been looking at the Vizio M-Series but again, open to any brand. Thanks for any advice and recommendations.

I heard Panasonic just released an OLED. Not sure if it's any good but they used to make a mean plasma.

Samsung will present their 2021 Mini LED lineup as well soon, this should be better than both OLED&QLED by a fair margin and be the go-to until micro led comes.
