Late to this thread but I LOVED watching Vernon Maxwell. Hitting the shot that put the dagger into the Knicks and capturing the Rockets first Championship! He didn't back down against anyone, including Jordan!

Dream34 was dominate at both ends and got us to the Finals 3 times. Beat Magic/Worthy/ Old Kareem, Shaq/Penny, Robinson, Ewing, Barkley/ KJ Johnson, Stockton/Malone, & Drexler in playoff series.

It was an absolute joy, pleasure & honor to watch the man play. Dream34 was the best.

I just can't stand reading his articles (used to write for Hoopshype) or listening to his color commenting during games. I'd rather listen to Reggie Miller.

Probably Yao was the most joyful to watch because of all the haters he proved wrong

I loved his Shanghai shake. It's too bad, he got injured so frequently that he couldn't use it.

While we’re strolling down memory lane, one that was fun to listen to was Gene Peterson calling Purvis Short shots on the radio. No radio guy will ever call a game like Gene. He and Jim made you want to watch the TV but listen to the radio for the calls.

Yeah. He became better than Shaq imo once he got his jump hook tightened up. I remember him giving Shaq 27 & 10 on national tv.
