Tough couple of months for Soulja Boy -- first the Lebron diss, then the Crazy Marta girl incident, and now Ice-T is on his case.

I think Ice-T's family should challenge Soulja Boy's on celebrity family feud.

Especially cos we've been waiting for it for like 7 years and I think most people "forgot about dre!"

(I actually heard that on the radio the other day and forgot how good he and Eminem meshed).

I didnt mean it like he only has one album of music, sorry about that.
I meant the report that he's only doing ONE MORE album before he stops to write a novel.

Hip Hop's Savior needs to put in more heroics into the music studio and less in Barnes and Noble if he's gonna revive hip hop.

    Absolutely with you on that.

Lupe Fiasco, with the respect but not the adoration, is the ONLY one getting mentioned as a traditional hip hop artist. Meaning really there should be MORE, not just one guy. Thats how much "real" hip hop has gone underground.

Right. There was still enough "Juice" left over from the good rappers of the era. Enough pure hip hop still left that they were seen as more a threat to hip hop but not the death & let them get their piece of the pie...Now that all the "pure" hip hop has evaporated from consciousness its allowed Soulja Boy to take the throne.

I dont think Lupe is conceited enough to want to "restore" real hip hop (unlike Nas). Lupe's popularity is partly due to how much trash is out there, and partly his unique style

I said it before. . . I will say it again

so call . . REAL and TRUE Hip Hop Artists need to STEP UP
    and BE BETTER

a 'true' artist should be able to blend the Popular
with the real in a weave that is flawless

I think their is pure LAZINESS on both sides of this
