Thats a ref. How does the ball get to the player?

Why would there be 2 refs on the baseline? Certainly a camera man would be capable of passing the ball to the player, no?

It was a behind the back to pass to a cameraman. I doubt that was his desired target.

Because he accidently threw it to a cameraman and the cameraman threw it to the player. If you watch, he tried to pass it to the player and it just missed him and the cameraman tosses to the player. Why would the referee be sitting on the floor when played had started!?

Yep, I think its a cameraman, the ref tried to pass to the player, but its was a bad pass.

And yeah, why a ref would be sitting in the sideline, while the game is still playing??

No, obviously not because a camera man can only take pictures/shoot footage.

that is what he is only good @ so, its a crime to ever think that a camera would ever pass a loose ball to a player

I don't care if it is a cameraman or a ref or the Pope, it simply is not funny. If it is a ref, he threw him a perfect pass. If his intent was to throw it to the player, he missed his mark by a few feet. If you think that's funny - great. I just don't see any humor in it.

Hmmm, if it was the Pope, it would have been really funny. (No offense to the Catholics)

Well it's debatable if that person, whoever he was was sitting down or not.

I LOL everytime I see that.

I wonder what the ref felt after the pass.

    1) It is funny. Not necessarily "ha-ha" funny...more like "that was terrible" funny (kinda like that golfer who fell in the lake).

    2) If you don't find it funny, that's fine. But why say "it's not funny" three times in one thread. We get it - you didn't laugh. Good for you...move on.

I guess I just don't see the point of being so obnoxious about something you could care less about.

Eh, I kinda chuckled the first time I saw it.....but to watch it over and over, and think it's funnier every time you see it? I don't get that. The guy made a bad pass.....it happens.

It isn't funny, it isn't even mildy amusing. If the ref woould have thrown the ball and it knocked a beer out of someone's hand or the ball hit a guy in the nuts, that would have been a little funny.

Ref tries to be a badass and show off...but fails in front of tens of thousands of fans and millions more on TV...

    Verdict:

    MILDLY FUNNY.
