[We shouldnt be punished because a hotbed of cowards who are known throughout america to be troublemakers
and lost suburban izod shirt wearing wanna be gangsters and who listen to m&m, threw beer and caused a ruckus. Detroit is Detroit. Houston in Houston. There is not another city of basketball fans who will do that.

There is going to be a mass lurch toward the booze conveyors as the third quarter winds down. This rule reminds me of Yankee Stadium--they made a couple sections in the right field bleachers "no alcohol" zones, so what the people do is buy the max two-beers-at-one-time, pound them on the ramp, then go up to the stands drunker than ever to hurl their batteries.

I'm guessing this will work like Larry's Big Bamboo in MMP...at least how it worked Saturday during the college game. Beer sales were cut off at the start of the 7th. However, you could still buy them at the Big Bamboo. They simply had security at the door to the concourse that didn't allow anyone with a beer to leave.

This does suck that some drunken idiots in Detroit had to make this an NBA-wide rule. Why not punish those who actually are dumb enough to throw drinks on players rather than the entire league? Oh yeah, that makes too much sense.
