When I say “sorry” and young people casually reply with “you’re good.” Maybe I’m not good! You don’t know me. How did my apology become a referendum on my state of being?? I apologized to make sure YOU are ok, not so you can turn it around and judge whether I am good or not. What happed to saying “no problemo” or “no worries” or “fuhgeddaboutit” or “**** you!”??

This is actually true. I give my wife **** all the time for carrying cash, but when it comes to parking or tipping a driver, I'm like honey have any cash? Lol.
