I had friends who were drafted and went to Vietnam. I was lucky. Nothing like the draft to wake people up to the fact that they have a government and voting is a good idea.

Not everyone is a fortunate son.

    What the hell:

Just went down on a girl while playing "Welcome to the Jungle" and diddled the tongue in tune to the beat.

She laughed. I laughed. It was so stupid it was funny.

    TMI?

I'm old, but I'm not as old as @Deckard, plus I hung around with the hipsters ... ;)

The best "old man songs" are anything by:

    David Allan Coe

    Waylon Jennings

    B.B King
    [IMG]

    Frank Sinatra
    [IMG]

It isn't a coincidence that all these guys were hard asses (except BB King who was an incredibly nice man).

If you want to impress, go down on a 20 year old girl at 3 am to the beat of "September of my years" with a fedora and a glass of Jack with 4 ice cubes and a splash of water.

Other than coffee and cigarettes, Zappa did not do drugs. Beefheart? He was just insane.

I don't think you were allowed to drive in the 1970's unless under the influence of something illegal.

Well, I lived through it and you may have a point.

My son asked me if I ever experimented with drugs in the 70's and I told him, "No, I never experimented with drugs, I was into full blown research."
