He was delusional and wanted the offense to go through him still and Francis and Cat were really looking like they were going to take the next step. I love Dr34m but this one was on him. He specifically asked to be traded to Toronto as he always loved the city.
In this country you are from wherever you went to college. That’s why people put it on their vehicles, hats, shirts, on their walls or desks at work and at home. In that regard, I will argue that Hakeem is from Houston. He is a Houstonian lol. I’m really just posting this to think about something other than wondering if Harden ever showed up tonight and here I am back wondering. Damn.
Incorrect. In this country you’re from where you went to HIGH SCHOOL. You just rep your college on the side. A few years in college isn’t enough to overpower where someone went to high school and most likely grew up at. John Wall doesn’t rep Kentucky he reps NC. KD doesn’t rep Texas he reps Maryland/D.C. (my hometown). And I guarantee you if Gerald Green went to any college outside of Houston he still would’ve repped Houston. And wonder no more. He didn’t.
Both of you are half-right. I think repping your hometown / location where your high school is, only pertains to basketball players. Even staying within the realm of sports, you don't really hear NFL players shouting out their high school. It's usually where they played ball in college. The discrepancy lies in duration stayed. Basketball was either high school -> NBA or one-and-done -> NBA. Not there long enough to make any meaningful connections. Everything post-HS but pre-NBA was just a stepping stone. In the NFL, I think you have to stay a minimum of 2 years or something. Stepping outside of sports, I've never heard the regular layperson reference where they went to high school, as if high school was more important than where they went to college. I honestly think it's strange if people did that.
I said in this country where you’re from is where you went to high school as opposed to where you went to college. Bottom line is people are gonna represent their hometown more than their college and anyway in most cases people normally go to college in the same town or state they grew up in. Not sure how aware you are of social norms which doesn’t seem like you’re very aware but most people ask “Where you from?” before they ask “What college did you go to?” Also if 2 people from the same place get together they’re most likely to bring up where they went to high school before college ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
I believe Jessie Smollet got jumped at Subway more than I believe your 4 year old brother hacked your Clutchfans account @Os Trigonum
