Darnell Mayberry @DarnellMayberry Representatives for Hakeem Olajuwon contacted Thunder coach Scott Brooks today. Olajuwon has expressed interest in working with Serge Ibaka. This was retweeted by Chris Mannix from SI
The precious few times he's been allowed to post up, Ibaka has the most similar post moves to Hakeem's. He's very raw but a couple of times he looked so much like Hakeem it shocked me. Of course, a couple of other times it didn't work out very well AT ALL.
Maybe Lebron dissed Hakeem by not inviting him to the celebratory festivities. He's going to tell Ibaka to demand the ball and then it might cause friction between him and Westbrook. I hope he molds him into a defensive monster though.

So the expectations have to be realistic. He’s such a modest person that he will never tell anybody how great he was. But he was the best that I’ve ever seen with footwork and his ability to make plays, not only for himself but for others. I’ve never seen another player at any position able to do what he did.”
"Olajuwon offers you a fish . . YOU TAKE THE FISH!!" Seriously though . . Time for Olajuwon to open up HAKEEM'S BIG MAN CAMP! I remember someone use to have a BIG MAN'S CAMP and I think Hakeem went to it. . . that guy retired i think so . . .time for HAKEEM to do it . . . . take on the mantle Rocket River
This probably has more to do with Olajuwon being interested in recruiting Ibaka to get more involved in African philanthropy than anything.
Or the fact that he sees a little of himself in him. Ikaka is similar in terms of altheticism and quickness at the defensive end. but he is also lightyears away in terms of offense.
If Ibaka can train himself to shoot the jumpshot that well, then I trust he can teach himself a hook shot too.
