Being on the wrong side of 30 after missing an entire season with another injury isn’t a great career trajectory. He’s going to lose a fortune not signing those contracts.

And yeah, he can sing. For a basketball player. Not for a singer...

Him turning that contract down shows that he felt he was not injured before being traded to Miami, so no way can they claim the Rockets hid his injury

Whats worse is that this a reoccurrence of the same injury on another non contact play. Dipo is DONE DONE. He’s going to regret not taking thr long term deals.

He got something and turns out Olynyk can ball so definitely a win in hindsight.

Miami wins too the trade let them see for themselves instead of being hung with a bad contract. The loss of KO vs a multiple year bad contract. Miami wins, too.

2022 first round draft pick from Brooklyn and/or Miami
Houston will receive the two most favorable of its 2022 1st round pick, Brooklyn's 2022 1st round pick and Miami's 2022 1st round pick protected for selections 1-14 and Miami will receive the least favorable of the three (via Houston's right to swap Houston or Brooklyn for Miami); if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyable, then Houston will instead receive its pick and the Brooklyn pick and the less favorable of Denver's 2022 2nd round pick and Philadelphia's 2022 2nd round pick (via Miami)

Will Miami make the playoffs next year?

Miami could have used Kelly Olynyk in this series
