Oladipo to Miami

Gave up a 2nd round pick to Indiana for taking Lavert.

 

That was from a week ago and, if I'm not mistaken, the same game he injured his leg on another dunk and has been kept out of play since then as a precaution. I don't think he's played since then.

 

One of the media guys tweeted the highlight when it happened and I commented he will probably be out a month after that effort.

 

Let alone Levert is back to averaging close to 20-5-5 for April...thats close to what he averaged in 9 playoff series, much much harder defense, but showed flashes on what made him appealing to many teams...let alone we wouldn’t have had our backs against the wall and no leverage if we wanted to repackage him like oladipo(who made it known before this season he wanted to find his way to Miami, but tillman said can I interest you in a rebuilding tank Houston project instead of a great culture and possibly playoff dark horse Miami, classic Landrys.

 

Yep same game. I was just glad dipo had a highlight this year before it ended.

 

I bet Heat will not even offer him a contract. LOL, Going to be hilarious to see this dude get signed with the knicks come offseason for peanuts.

The Rockets probably gained nothing in that we still finished last and will probably be worse than the Heat next year also so no chance for a pick swap. Bad trade for the Heat though—they could’ve used Olynyk in the rotation.

 

swapped for a better first and Kelly O is actually really great for us. Best player in the trade

 

They’ll resign a newly healthy Dipo at a bargain price.

 

The Rockets have the right to swap 2022 1st’s which more than likely is not going to be used because the Heat will still be better than us. I guess it depends on what happens with Olynyk this off-season.
