pass on okur... i would take him over our current PFs, don't get me wrong... but mehmo is not the answer. at least not at the cost of our pick or stromile/head. jazz players typically just DIE after they leave utah and i can see that being the case with okur. ideally the rockets get an elton brand type player. a defensive 4 with great rebounding, shot-blocking skills, and a bit of post game. someone who could possibly play the 5 for us. sounds like stromile huh? F%$@... i wish stro was smarter on the x's and o's of the game! HE WOULD BE PERFECT!

Juwan Howard is a good athlete still. You don't need a power forward. Chuck Hayes can back up Juwan. You NEED SHOOTING!!! So you'll have a few white guys on the team that won't drive to the basket (except Sura on occasion). No big deal!!! We have the athletic black guy star (t-mac), we have the only great tall chinese center (yao). We don't need a bunch of ball hogs on the team. We don't need a bunch of idiots with low iq's either. We need shooters!! The more the better. Ronnie Brewer isn't a shooter. Brandon Roy is not a great shooter (good at best), Rodney Carney is pretty good, Tyrus Thomas is not worth the risk, Andrea Bargnani would be worth it but he's not gonna be there at 8. Why move up??? There's no one worth it!! (except Redick) Okur isn't going to come here. We don't need him anyway. I'm telling you guys the 2 guard is where it's at!!!
