    I made a team on NBA 2K once and the name was Thunder, coudln't be less gay and more originality?

    Worse than Bobcats.

    I hate these "Thunder" "Liberty" "Storm" type names. Team names should be plural nouns, dammit!

    History as in there was a former team called the Texans.

    It's still better than Bobcats though.

    I don't see any problem with it. The gheyer the better. As long as they have nothing to do with Houston, I'm fine with any crappy name they wanna call themselves.

    Not the Dusters? The Tornadoes? The Twisters? The Cyclones? Something?

    Oklahoma has to have something their proud of. If thunder is all they've got, I hate to break it to em', but everybody else has that too. They do not have a monopoly on thunder. In fact, many states have more thunder than Oklahoma.
