Hated to see him go, hope he can blow up there and win big with OKC! http://www.nba.com/thunder/video/2012/10/29/LambPractice121029mov-2265508/index.html http://www.nba.com/thunder/news/trainingcamp_121029
I was really high on him as well, but don't know if he will be able to blow up as a 3rd string guard while Durant and WB command the ball on offense. Here's hoping he gets some pt and becomes really good a few years down the line.
During pre-season he looked scared and out of his element also his family moving with him to Houston was a little strange... like a grown man can't live in a new city by himself? dunno if he will ever have the killer mentality that stars have
Yeah I really doubt he'll get playing time in OKC, whose in contention to win the whole damn thing. Him and Perry Jones III are D-League bound.
Exactly. Presti is the last GM in the NBA who would draft a guy like Royce and no team would give a bag of peanuts for him now. No, Perry Jones III is KD's backup in place of Cook, which is why he was expendable. He wasn't exactly a happy camper as PJ3 became a training camp and pre-season sensation who generated lot's of hype.
I'm sad that we lost Lamb. At least he's in a good team that's easy to root for now. Would hate to see him play for a team like the Lakers, Mavs, or Heat.
Derrick Rose still lives with a long-time family friend. Well, maybe not any more since he and his girlfriend just had a baby, but he did for a long time. It's to help keep an eye on them and keep their heads straight. Lots of temptation out there.
