Forgot to add, now its eaiser for the Thunder to get in the top 10 if they package the 18th with the 21 pick and maybe the 26 pick. I think a team would rather have that package instead of the Rockets 14th and whatever else. And all they had to do was eat about 2 mill of cap space.
Thunder have next to 0 outside shooting, so Cook might get some playing time. But, I don't see the Thunder keeping all 3 first round draft picks.

But seriously, you have an issue with me saying that have very little outside shooting, because they have Durant? They have Durant and Harden for outside shooting. Green likes to shoot from the outside, but he's hardly consistent. Unless Green, Maynor or Weaver develops, they still have next to 0 outside shooting. But, go ahead and be satisfied because they have Durant for outside shooting. I'm sure he loves to kick it out to himself when he drives.
They just need to get rid of Beasley, I'm sure Minnesota or GS will take him. Their GMs aren't the brightest of the bunch.
They'll be higher then the 8th spot. I'm not worried. If Amare is gone from the sSuns and Yao is healthy, we'll be good to go.
lets not complain about why morey didnt jump on this. 1. the heat probably wanted an early second round pick this year, and the rockets don't have that. 2. morey probably isnt willing to take on another first round pick unless he knows he will be able to package them to move up. if you can't move up you're stuck with that other contract (of the pick), plus cooks contract. great deal for okc, tough call for the rockets.
Teams that are way under the cap can makes trades like this and the Maynor trade. They need to move up and get a big man.
why do teams make it look so easy to get a pick or trade players but the rockets make it seem like its rockets science i mean milwake hot maggete for a 44th pick and cash. Remeber how the rockets wanted magette but could not get him...my god, morey get something done, we need an allstar not a buch of cheap scrubs. The hell with money, lets stop getting our hopes up on one person and in the mean time trade someone who will help this eam.
The Rockets don't need Maggette with AB & K-Mart on the roster. There is only one basketball to go around.
