Oklahoma City Bison makes sense geographically, and it's an animal that would be easy to make a fierce looking logo for. So that's my pick.
If possible, they should just call it Oklahoma City because all the suggestions suck plus I can't think of any possible decent ones as well. Barons and Bison are OK though.
Of the names listed, Thunder, Energy, and Wind are by far the worst. And of the remaining 3, I give a slight edge to Bison although it would be hilarious to see them proceed with the misspelling of Marshals. Would the Marshalls be named after the department store or the university?
I kind of like Wind but after the first losing streak the headlines would read "Wind Continues to Blow." Thunder is good too. Bison as well. Can't get into Marshalls (that university is in WV) or Barons particularly.
Energy, Thunder and Wind sound like WNBA names. LOL. Barons is the best of the lot, followed by Bison.
I hate the term "bison". It sounds better as "buffaloes". I also like emelim03's choice of the "Marshall's" and the "OK Corral"!
Barons or Marshals would work. Bison is ok, just sounds kind of strange. Energy, wind, and thunder are terrible.
They need to change the city's name first. Are there any interesting suburbian names around that 1-horse town?
Really weak choices of names. WIND? The Oklahoma City Draft... Even if its not region specific, Hurricane or Monsoons or Tornados sound much better. Its like they're in a rush to get a name. Wait it out a little longer and actually get something clever. Thunder is about as stock as you can get.
