i hope we beat the jazz tommorrow night to wipe the taste of victory and sole possesion of 2nd seed out their mouth
I really like Deron Willimas. But this game makes me hate the Jazz even more. Great game though. OKC deserved to win this game IMO.
seriously, why can't the league change the rules? They should make it like football, each team gets a challenge or something
That stinks. If there is ANY team I want to face in the West, assuming I'm a lower seeded team, I would choose Denver over LA, DAL and PHX. Denver has just been inconsistent in the last month.
Reminds me of the Rox/Spurs game in 92 with Dale Ellis' 3 and Gene Peterson/Bull%^%$ radio call lol...The refs may have cost the Thunder a playoff series win down the road.
now denver is 5th, thunder is still in 6th pending what the spurs do tonight, i would rather face suns in 1st round, they play no defense
I hope Durant keeps his cool and stays grounded when they interview him after the game. He is truely a mega star. He doesnt need to build a bad rep or get fined...
seriously, it's this kind of bull**** reffing that makes me lose passion in the game. why can't the refs go back and review the game? WTF is wrong with getting the right call?
nah, with his ability and potential, he can say anything he wants I hope he jumps out and take a few shot at the league
It honestly comes down to what your team has an answer for, really. Would you rather face Anthony/Billups, or Nash/Stoudemire? Westbrook plays decent defense, so he could take on Nash/Billups. Durant would cancel out Anthony. But I don't think Jeff Green is the answer for Stoudemire. And Stoudimire is very scary right now.
Right, but this game (even though they all do) have specific playoff implications. Winning this game gets you closer to HCA, while losing gets you closer to playing the Lakers in the first round. I wouldn't pull a Rasheed-Wallace-on-the-refs when I'm interviewed, but I sure wouldn't be calm.
Because a foul is a judgment call. Sure it definitely was a foul but why review it? There are plenty of no foul calls at the end of games.
Nah I dont think he will. It's not in his nature to say things like that. I hope he shows that he is disappointed but not go after the refs directly. The fact that he is grounded and humble is why I really enjoy his game. Don't forget about Serge Ibaka. He is a monster defensively.
