Yes, Yes, we all know u want Dwight... but if that doesnt happen, which of these options (that seem to be floating about) would you be most interested in? "nonstarters/expirings" include: Thabeet/JHill/Twill/Flynn/Bud...maybe PPat or Mo... (assuming CLee off table...Dragic only in certain scenarios...) Okafor- 3 yrs/12.6M.... apparently, the Hornets will give a first round pick for anyone taking Emeka... Assuming we can get him and Minnie first rd pick (13-16) for nonstarters/expirings... McGee - 1yr/2.5M.... but ya gotta take Blatche (4yrs/6.4M)....for nonstarters/expirings... Bogut - 3yrs/12M....but ya gotta take SJax (2yrs/9.2M)... for Kmart and either JHill/Thabeet or Sam Kamen - 1yr/14M....for nonstarters/expirings + 2nd rd... Pau - 3yrs/18.7M... for Scola/Dragic/Kmart (prob a 3 way to send Kmart elsewhere.. minnie? and Beasley to LA?)... assuming Lowry off the table... Yes, there ae many other possiblities, but going with these, which is our best option? poll coming...
If Okafor could net the Rockets a top 5 pick, I'd go with that option. Unfortunately, there will most likely be protection on that pick. I'm still hoping for Gasol or at least Kaman.
If Minnesota starts sinking without Rubio there's no telling what that pick would look like. Also, the remaining years are wrong. Kaman and McGee are expiring, the rest are 2 years.
Funny. You keep saying no to Bogut because he is "injury prone." Kaman has had more injuries than Bogut.
but where are they now? Kaman plays injured while bogut barely played last seaon and basically hasnt seen floor this season. if we trade for player thats currently on IR, morey needs to be fired. Mcgee over them both
I think Okafor is the best deal... if we get a first rounder and still have Kmart to move elsewhere (ie: package for Josh Howard?)... I'd pull the trigger on Bogut - looking to next season... Kamen I would do if everything else fell through... MCGee is a possibility but I'd want more if i gotta take Blatche.. Pau... least enticing with that 3yr/18.7M+ contract and giving up the most assets of all 5 options... if he was 27 or 12M cap - it'd be a different story...
Yep, u may be able to pull off multiple deals... whats your highest priority though? Thats why I like the Okafor deal best - still have assets to move in additional deals....
Okafor made CP3 leave New Orleans. Pau's 15% trade kicker makes his salary $21,564,150, $21,850,00, and $22,135,850.
Yeh, thats a poison contract - imo... I want no part of it...then add the 'assets' it'll take to get him....cant believe so many people on this board are so into it...
