What....you people have never had that one friend who did stupid things to attract attention and look cool in front of his friends? That's how I see this. The a-hole is hanging out with his buddies cooking up some bbq and sees this kitty. A light bulb goes off in his freaking anti-genius, pea-size mind that I'll bbq the kitty and look like a macho joke-meister by doing something cruel and off-the-wall thinking it will be oh so funny while the testosterone flows freely. I believe this is one of those occassions and I hope he goes to jail for the full 5 years for being such an idiot. I was at a party in high school once and one of my stupid friends thought it would be funny to put a kitty he found on the street in the trunk of my car. Several of our other friends watched and said nothing. This kitty sat in my trunk for 24 hours plus in the summer and I finally heard it crying and found it. The whole time my supposed friends said nothing about it. I thought that was pretty damn stupid as well. So, then I'm left with a kitty and I'm trying to find it's true owner. I never did and started to raise the kitty as my own but it escaped never to be heard from again. I also never looked at my friends the same way after that. The bottom line is people do very stupid things and don't much rightly care until there are repurcussions. They do it to look cool and macho in front of their friends(IMHO). This guy is going to get his for being such a jerk-off. I hope the judge throws the book at this guy. Let's see how he likes getting raped in prison. I'm sure he won't be the same person after he gets out of prison. Who wants to hire a felon who burned a defenseless kitty, either?
