You have too give him all the blame and he has to take it and do something about it. If you are the highest paid person on the team then you have to take all the junk that comes with that glorious paycheck!

Man, I hope you are not feeling sorry for someone who owns a mansion, a private plane and makes $$$/year plus endorsements. If I had his skills and get paid as much as TMac, there would ba path of destruction everytime I go to the basket.

I don't think his mid-range jumper has been that effective this series either. Wish I had some stats to back that thinking up though.

I think so too. McGrady is doing his part, it is time for the rest of the team to do theirs.

That will be a huge question next season, the health of our two superstars. I am also looking forward to seeing Scola, Landry, and Brooks after a season and playoff experience under their belt.

I'm not comparing them to those two teams but other people try that BS.

Well I didn't think about the series only. I tought about his whole carrer

T-Mac has been doing that the whole series. Not only points, asist and rebound also but hell I'm so glad he doesn't dribble the ball everytime. Since Rafer came back he's been playing off the ball a lot.

It's a team sport. T-Mac isn't playing 1 on 5 out there. T-Mac lead the team in points, rebounds, and assists. He neraly had a triple-double for the second time in the series and for the second time they lost when he put up those kind of stats. T-Mac earned his paycheck, it's time for the rest of those guys to earn their millions too.

WTF does that even have to do with anything?

That's true and my only thinking there is that his shoulder is bothering him more than we know or maybe his free throw skills actually are depleted. We'll see.

Agree. You simply can't blame guy averaging triple-double for lose.

T-Mac earns 20 millions but what? For example 3 or 4 millions is not a lot? If you earn 3 million you can suck? Other guys also have to start playing real basketball. During the season it worked really well but now something failed.

No no, I don't think shoulder is now a big deal. It may be still in some pain but if he can make well contested jumpers and 3s so he can also make open free throws.

rox need changes, but is such drastic measures needed?

a couple change to the bench, a change of personal at the starting 5. Little things that can make a whole of difference.

Remember, rox is still a 55 win team. With yao and tmac missing a whole lot of the season.

Well his jumper hasn't been there for the last several weeks. We'll see.

Id trade T-mac for AI straight up. At least he gets to the rim and the line often. I don't think he would be ideal for the motion offense, but as others have said, he is a "warrior." The Nuggets are going to have to blow something up after this season.

Trading TMac would be monumentally stupid. The problem is NOT Tmac or Yao as players. It is:

    1. Health
    2. Incosistent PG play
    3. Lack of reliable 3rd scorer (I actually think that next year, Scola and Landry will take care of this once they can play off Yao)

The biggest problem is clearly #1. We stay healthy, we're contenders for a ring.

I would trade TMAC for a younger player at his position that does what he does i.e. jack up shots, play no defense, and generally not give a damn. Lets see ...

we could draft robert mckiver from UH i mean they call him "mcHeaver" over there.

we could trade for morris almond from the jazz.

we could just drop him and let bobby jackson have his minutes (as they give you identically piss poor play)

we could give novak the minutes and tell him to hold the ball for 15 seconds before shooting a fade away off a screen, but this probably wouldnt work because novak actuallly cares.

Finally we could admit that tmac is basically a right handed cuttino mobley who shoots more, admit that we got jobbed because the trade should have been mobley for mac straight up (if you look at production), blame it all on CDs senility and start over.

Case in point; Tmac is the epitome of suck. He does everything wrongly. He would be a good player at some of the gyms around houston but not a great one.

In the mid 80s to late 90s, Tmac wouldnt have even made an NBA squad. That just shows you how terrible the league has gotten under Stern.

I will leave up to management to decide. I just don't know what can be done but this team needs health to be on its side for one freaking season to really gauge it.

I dont think ive ever heard ANY NBA player say that they were too tired. Bad shot after bad shot. He shoots threes like he can make them. He cant make freethrows.

He sure as hell shouldnt be untouchable

Honestly, do you think the coaches during that era, promoting the hard nosed, high-effort, physical play would have dealt with TMAC? The winning coaches i.e. Phil Jackson, Chuck Daly, and Rudy wouldnt have gotten anywhere near that guy. Sure he could have played for the mavericks or cavs in those days, but who cares.

Oh and btw nice argument. Nice insight. Glad to know that allthough you obviously disagree, you do not have enough comman of the english language to say how or why.

Tell me how Im wrong, not that I am.
