Tmac is a talented but unlucky player, one of this kind of players in the world.

My question is, if he can't help his team pass the first round this season, then there will be much more pressure on his shoulder in the next season, people will say,"oh let's see whether this first round virgin can make a change " or use other tart words to break this poor guy's heart and destory his confidence, then will he give us a satisfactory answer if our role players without any change. Rockets need a ring, not just the second round or WC championship.

In my view, I think this talented guy is tired, both physically and mentally.I don't wanna blame him too much,I know he has done everything he can do and I think he has lost the passion and joy of playing basketball by injuries and pressures.

I would keep Tmac in the team next season. But with No 1 and No.11 , rockets must find the third guy who can own the game and good bench players in the crucial time.If not, then 08-09 season will be mediocre for us.

We only need a Ginobli, not trading our core. It takes time to rebuild. Trade T-Mac for LBJ or Kobe can win the champion immediately? I don't think so.

How we forget SF3? If we keep healthy, we can do more.

"McGrady was taunted with the chant ''Over-Rated!'' when he went to the foul line late in the game. He scored just four points in another quiet final quarter"

all I got to say.... is Tmac needs to come out and dominate on both ends...and shoot like 60%

this needs to light a fire underneth him...

    or else

Dream got his first in 94, he was 31 years old at that time. The second came in 95 and yes, both teams were healthy, Dream had some small problems with his health but nothing big and we didn't have any injuries like the one that Yao fell for.

And guys, think about this, teams like Wizards with 3 all-stars and Denver with two superstars can't get out of the first round. How is T-mac supposed to do it by himself? You are hating a bit too much on the guy, I would love to see him in Houston next year. I don't want a major trade including on of our franchiseplayers, we need them, we need a Ron Artest-type of player with mentality, we don't need to get rid of one of our superstars, we won't get any better with that trade done. Give this team some time, they are still young (and healthy).

Good points. The whole first round thing is WAY overblown by the media and many fans.

sure,it is pretty blown, what about his 4th quarter meltdowns? what about his free throws? especially in the 4th. and then he starts blamin the coach? wtf, you missed those 2 free throws at the end, don't even thinking about blaming the coach.

I would keep T-mac another year. It's up to Morey to find a good 3rd scorer, such as Mike Miller.

He has no help. The free throws definitely need to be improved and he needs to work on that but through the 4 games he has been the primary weapon and the Jazz know it so they guard him heavily and wear him down. Don't compare him to Kobe either because Kobehas Gasol and Odom. Don't compare him to LeBron because he has better pieces around him too. Let's not forget he is playing roughed up as well. The consensus has been that Adelman made a bad mistake. So what he missed the free throws, he and the team missed a lot of those throughout the game as well as shots. If they hit any of those they are in it too.

you see, i'm just wanting a great leader. i love tmac, his ability to score in few minutes and get real hot. but...

as we all know, the boozer story. he comes in an hour and thirty minutes, and shoots free throws.

there are two things boozer does by doing that.
    1. of course, he improves his free throws by alot
    2. he is showing the other players on his team, that practicing means ALOT. he showed in the game and just going to practice that early.

tracy complained. that's not right, at all. to me, i believe he has this high thinking, that he is such a great player that he can just blame the coach and not him, his free throw shooting, his 4th quarter meltdon, his leadership.

    Depends.

I would love to keep TMac but he needs to relegate himself as a second option. His heart is not strong enough to be a primary option. He has to take a pay cut to allow the Rockets to bring in a strong primary option.

Kinda reminded me why he left Toronto and Vince Carter in the first place. He thought he could carry a team but apparently he can't.

OK, if you want to give him some of the blame that is fine. I just get sick of people placing all of this on T-Mac.

Well his free throws need to improve, you are right. To be that good midrange shooter and only shoot 68% from the line is ridiculous.

But you are right that he also did not get any help. He again led the team is scoring, asists and rebounds - isn't that too much? I think it is.

Kobe has Gasol now, Odom is playing great basketball. You saw what happend to LA when Kobe didn't have Gasol. Of course T-Mac has Yao who is bigger weapon than Pau but hell Yao is out for the season which makes game tougher not for Tracy only, but also for everyone else. That's why our biggest need for thenest season is HEALTH. Let them play one full season together and I'm sure we will at least enter WCF with Adelman as a coach. Look we are playing I'd say better against the Jazz than we played last year. Offense is strugglings but defense is phenomenal. Now you add Yao to that mix and we sure have easy win.

And the big difference between Rockets and Lakers is that guys are just making shots. We are getting good positions but we just haven't been able to knock down them and free throws of course.

You can't compare Rockets and Cavs and McGrady and LeBron. I can't agree that LeBron has better people around him that Tracy has. Sorry but that's bullsh!t because Rockets are a way better than Cavs. Cavs and LeBron just play in EAST

I think T-Mac had done this but was forced to step up and be the primary target once again. I don't think there is anybody out there who came in during the start of the season and thought this was T-Mac's team. It's Yao's. The offense goes through him. I think everybody knows that, even T-Mac now. Yao got hurt though so McGrady was forced to shoulder the load once again.
