Ok so do we give Tmac another year, or shop him this summer?

The biggest problem with Mac is he doesn't attack quick enough, when he gets the ball he sits there for a second that gives the defense time to clog up the lane. Also when he drives it seems as if the refs don't give him the superstar calls consistently.

So what? I used to be a Rockets fan until one particular player really disgusted me.

Because I can't predict what T-Mac will do. It's all speculation. I said I believe he will retire after this contract and if he does stay, I believe it will be for the money. I don't think he cares as much as his fans want him to about winning a title.

As far as my reputation goes, I created one infamous thread and people played it out. I deserve it I guess but it doesn't make everything I say wrong.

Unless you are a total moron and believe that if a person is wrong one time, they are wrong all the time. I guarantee you have been wrong about a lot of things. It would probably take me all of 5 minutes to prove that.

You just said Melo and AI are better than Tmac, but now you change your subjects to LBJ and Kobe! You should wait for LBJ get out of this round and then say it. About Kobe, he didn't get out of 1st round either after Shaq left. This year, he is lucky to play with Gasol!

You know what? Actually, I think you don't know those nba stars very well. Probably, only heard someone mentioned they are good.

he should be 31 or 32 when his contract expires, and given the rate that his body is breaking down these years, how big a contract can he land? what he should concentrate on then if he dont advance to 2nd round next year is take a huge pay cut and find places that he can advance.

He's got to drive more consistently. You won't get all the calls, but you'll get calls. I'd argue that the chances of getting a call on the drive are far greater than getting a call on a jumpshot/fadeaway.

It's frustrating that his skills are there, but he won't use them unless he feels like it. Silky smooth is what he wants to play like, instead of aggresive.

I still want him on the team. He and Yao play great together. We are just one piece away from a championship.

The only way I trade McGrady is if we get fair value (which is HIGHLY unlikely). Regardless, I root for the Rockets. McGrady is a Rocket, I support him.

why should I wait for lbj to get out of this round? he already went to the finals. So what kobe is lucky to play with gasol. So tmac is not lucky that he plays with yaoming and now that yao is injuried and he cant advance? And when did I say melo and AI are better than tmac? All i said was switch the roles and put tmac against the lakers, he's not going anywhere either.

I agree and watching Mac all his career, I can say his biggest problem is not attacking as soon as he touches the ball. Dude would be damn near unstoppable and way more effective if he attacked as soon as the ball touched his hands.

Actually, this is simple. If the rockets can get out of 1st round, we can see whether the rockets can beat the lakers. Or, if the Jazz can get out of the 1st round, we can see whether the lakers can do better than the rokets in Utah!

In fact, here is a perfect example of you being wrong. I just accidentally saw this when reading a post on the previous page.

Go look at the Nuggets defensive efficiency. You will be surprised to see that they are far from the worst in the league. In fact, they were in the top 10 in defensive efficiency. The reason they give up so many points is that they play a fast-paced game: http://www.thesportswatchers.com/2008/02/surprisingly-good-nba-defenses.html

So I guess you were wrong despite acting like a know-it-all. Now you have a reputation of always being wrong. No need to listen to you. :D

Then again, why would you believe anything else. You don't form your own judgment. You just believe the first thing you hear.

does it even matter? what if lakers beat utah 4-2 and lose both at salt lake and rocket lose the series but win a game at utah? Is that how you define which team is better?

We can NEVER get equal value for Tmac but possible to get better return for Hayes, Landry or Battier.

Wow, after criticzing me for being wrong, I've already found 2 posts where you were wrong. Your argument is totally nullified by what he accomplished last season. I don't care if you are looking at this season. LeBron totally carried an overmatched team all the way to the finals last year.

Man, your credibility is squashed just like mine. I guess nobody should waste their time with you, either.
