Mark has not logged on to the board since last Thursday. Hopefully he is on vacation. I also called their hotline and though they did not have any info on him specifically, they did say many Morgan Stanley employees evacuated the building. Hope for the best...
I cannot describe what you have been going through Mark and I can't seem to find the words to sum my reaction. You have touched so many lives on and off this board, may your friends, family members and self be in safe settings.
It is... I just located his email address and he definitely works for Morgan Stanley. Damn, I'm sad now and I don't even know the guy.
Yes, he will pay dearly with his life. Please, Mark, be alright. Everyone here at the BBS is praying for you and your family.
If he normally posts from work, it's understandable why he might have stopped posting. Let's hope work is the only place he ever posts from.
like r95 just stated, most employees of Morgan Stanley got out safely. There are still a few missing. Lets hope Mark is not one of them, but at the same time keep praying that more and more survivors are found.
Man I've never met you guys but you're like an extended family. A sports family. I see how players say that they're like a family. God I hope he's ok. I'm having a hard time working worrying about him, and other posters.
It sucks when a cc. member has possibly gone down. When they say that most of the employees got out that means some of them were unfortunately still in there. This really sucks y'all.
this just in.... ------------------------------ rec'd from CNN 1:47PM CST DEVELOPING STORY NEW YORK (CNN) -- Giant brokerage firm MorganStanley's chairman and CEO, Philip Purcell, said Wednesday "a vast majority" of the 3,500 staff members who worked in two of the World Trade Center buildings, including one of the twin towers, got out safely after hijackers crashed two planes into the towers. I would like to also post my prayers for MC Mark. Pretty sure this has already been stated, but I've already spoke to a couple of people who work for Morgan Stanley, and who were there yesterday. They said that it was a fairly routine evacuation, at first, and that a security guy DID tell them that the threat was over, and to go back up. They said NO ONE payed attention to that comment, so all knew it was pretty serious. The only REAL good news I can tell you is that I believe the highest Floor MS had was 74. Means that even the highest people should have been OK when the second plane hit. Anyway, just an FYI. Hope to hear from you soon, Mark.
