What is it that separates Kareem from Hakeem(I'm not conceding that Wilt > Hakeem, but I believe that Kareem and Hakeem are slightly more comparable)? Is it that he was classically trained and played the game the "right" way? Before any discussion begins, I would just like to point out that Hakeem was one of few to block the supposedly unblockable sky hook. ;)

I rank Hakeem, Bill Russell, Kareem, and Wilt as the greatest centers ever(In a tie for first).

It's all in the timing. The Suns of 92 and the Jazz of 97 and 98 would have belted any of the East teams that the Spurs and LA met in the Finals.

I admire Duncan but IMHO Karl Malone is the greatest PF to play the game rings or no rings. His durability and consistency is second to none.

I can only dream of the kind of numbers Hakeem would have accumulated if he had Malone's durability.

Man, I forgot all about that one.

    2000 – Duncan hurt
    2001 – DA hurt
    2002 – Peja hurt

Damn, that’s three years, three major players. And people want to discredit the Spurs title due to injuries?

How can a 3 time MVP be 2nd tier. Some of these youngsters kill me.

who, Moses Malone? George Mikan? it's very subjective of course but they just don't have enough zip to make it up to tier 1. Sorry, but you got to draw the line somewhere.

I don't want to go into specifics, but i suppose you didn't get a chance to see Moses right?
