    Unkle: Science Fiction
Technoish Radiohead type stuff. Thom York even guest appears on a track. the greatest cd i have heard in a long while.
    Weezer: Weezer
Who self titles both their first and third albums? i was very dissappointed with this. the only song i like is "Island in the Sun" its the only one with a guitar rift that is unbelievable ala "Say it aint so" every other song is pretty average. and i have heard so much great unreleased weezer stuff on napster, i dont know why they didnt put any of it on here.
    Staind:Break the Cycle
Youve got to feel what these guys are talking about. but if you ever get pissed or deppressed this is a perfect cd to put on ala Nine Inch Nails.

The new Radiohead Cd comes out to tommarrow, it should be terriffic.....

I have been listening to a lot of different stuff.

    Clifford Brown
    Freddie Hubbard
a couple of smoking old jazz trumpeters

    Beck -
    Midnight Vultures
Odelay is pretty good too - the funny thing is that I don't particularly care for his hits.

    Groove Collective -
Anything they got. I was so pissed I missed them at the Satellite Lounge when they were down.

Interesting trivia tidbit - American Hi Fi singer Stacy Jones was the drummer for Houston's Global Village (for all of 4 months in 1990).

You're right, Grey Race... silly of me. But I thought Stranger than Fiction came out before Grey Race? The last concert I saw of them was on the Grey Race tour, and my roomate had the Stranger than Fiction CD at the time.

I love "Kerosene." Probably my favorite song about fuel burning ever. [IMG]

That is a pretty good cd, but the rest of your list I have either never heard of or know it sucks. [IMG] (notice I did the smilie correctly!)

Can't go wrong with Train or Weezer; have the latest Train album and want the latest Weezer album.

The one CD that I can't get out of my CD player, though, is Lifehouse's "No Name Face". Great band, kinda like Matchbox 20 in their style. Their latest - "Mad Season" has gotten a lot of play in my player of late as well.

I'd like to sample the latest Alien Ant Farm CD, as well as Three Doors Down's "The Better Life" - anyone know anything about either of those?
