Maybe he's just taken his pouty act to the next level. It used to be if things weren't going his way(i.e. 3-pointers dropping and the refs' whistles blowing), he'd check out mentally halfway through a game and quit trying. Now he's checked out mentally on the team and the season. Why is the $64,000(or $200 million after Adidas) question. All I know is he clearly looks like he doesn't give a sh-t and is just going through the motions most nights. And that attitude is filtering down to his teammates.

D12 may not be the answer. But other than him we have no strength inside. Dmo is finesse. Capella is string bean but may develop and Jones as useful as a wet fart.

jesus reading this just made my heart drop. I watched them lose, but the fact they got swept is just so embarrassing.

We played many games without him this season and still looked like ****. Believe me....the lack of effort by one of our leaders is what has led to this cancerous team (hint its not Howard)

Of course I did. My comment was not in relation to the playoffs. Howard missed 41 games last season = half the season. We won more games without Howard than we did with him. It's not a coincidence.

In the playoffs, he was great.

That's the problem, he's been a joke this season. We did so well without Howard last season because it was 100% Harden's team. He and DMO played exceptionally well off eachother and he was of course more committed to playing defense, but to simply dismiss the notion that we play/played better without Howard would be moronic. This season alone, we look far better with Capela on the floor than Dwight.

don't want to see the breakup just yet, but...

We actually do have sometime to salvage this season in this unexpected forgiving Western Conference this year. So move Howard and hopefully land someone like Whiteside -- with over a half season left, there's still sometime to adjust and gain some traction in the standings.

I thought we were finally turning this thing around, playing inspired, getting some wins that were going to give us good momentum for the upcoming GS and SA games, but unfortunately we couldn't handle our business with mediocre teams.

BTW - I like Dwight but I don't think this system fits him anymore. Not sure about the chemistry with Harden. It's not easy to read in my opinion because Harden. I went to the game in DC last Wednesday and we had a good win that night. Actually had a family pass to meet players after the game and Dwight didn't come out for a long time. Go back and watch Dwight's postgame interview and you can see he's clearly unhappy with the lack of touches. I was surprised to see especially minutes after a win.

That's why Smoove was so important last season.

(Prioritises K.J. McDaniels in the offseason*)

LOL. If you think the ****ty defense is because of Howard...you really haven't been watching the games.
