    I have uploaded a torrent to Oink. It said I must download this torrent to seed. I downloaded it but I am not seeding and in fact it still says it is downloading under Azureus and it shows no progression, what's up?

    I sent you one, but warn you to not go crazy with the downloading early on. It is not anywhere near as easy to get a good ratio on Oink as it is on Demonoid.

    You may have trouble becoming "clever", but then again, maybe you won't. Read the FAQ on the site.

    BTW- Anyone getting throttled by Comcast? I was uploading over 2 Gigs a day, now I'm lucky to upload 75 Mbs, and I have ports forwarded. I WANT FIOS!

    I hate Comcast something hardcore. :mad:

    i just got below the 1.00 ratio mark on oink and now im at .979! does anyone know if they will do that ratio-free downloading again? thats an easy way to boost ratio!

    It's the plan, a plan I won't be able to reap the rewards of thanks to Comcast. :mad:

    Thankfully I've uploaded over 100 GB, with only around 35 GB down. I've got a lot of room to play with until we figure out how to bypass throttling.

    over 100 GB? jesus, how the heck...are you the one that does that trick that you gotta mess with settings and if you get it you're golden? seriously, i have no idea how to upload stuff that isnt already on there...i've d-loaded like 3 albums, i just let those run, i just dont d-load anything. i gotta figure a way to upload crap that isnt already on there. how the heck do you guys do it?

    Port Forwarding is the key, and all I did was seed what I had downloaded. Seeding over 300 right now. Once I figured it out I was uploading over 2 GB's a day. Now I'm stuck with 75mb a day if I'm lucky due to throttling.

    seeding over 300 what? 300GB? what i'm asking, how is it i can boost my upload? i mean i could d-load the 5 GB or whatever the free amount until ratio kicks in and let those seed, but that still wont help. whats the quickest way to increase my upload size without that port fowarding junk that no one can seem to figure out...unless they're lucky?

    Trust me, I've done everything. I've always had encryption enabled, now it's forced and I'm seeing nothing connectable for long periods of time.

    Dude, if I could figure out port forwarding anyone can. Forwarding a port only matters if you're on a router btw. Also, I'm seeding close to 300 torrents that I've downloaded, not GB.

    Read the FAQ at Oink for the other questions/answers. Building a good ratio at Oink takes a lot of patience and time. The Christmas leech fest helps too.
