Ohio State PG: Aaron Craft.... (the "white" Kyle Lowry?)

I'm a fan of this guy. Shoots it pretty well, but like the videos show, he's a GREAT defender. Has some pretty active hands too.

 

Very few "white" players have legit lateral quickness and quick-twitch athleticism. People commonly only think that jumping ability is the separation between "white" and "black" players, but its really the quick twitch athleticism and quickness that separates them. That's why Chandler Parsons has so much potential. Might not jump as high as Chase, but he has the all around athleticism that you need - and more.

Yeah, boy's a baller and can be atleast a solid pass-first PG that can defend the elite PGs and even SGs

 

He's going to be a doctor, premed with a 3.9.

 

At Villanova, Lowry was a bulldog on both ends of the floor.

 

This guy is ELITE defensively. He may be already better than Lowry in this department due to his quick lateral movement. His IQ is just off the charts. Offensively, he does play a little like Lowry, and I'm not sure how good he can be. However, he's definitely worth a first round pick. If we were to trade Lowry, this is the perfect guy to back up Dragic.

Kevin Pelton says Craft is part Asian. Maybe he can bring that Jeremy Lin money.

 

Last time I checked, the Rockets only had Kyle Lowry and Courtney Fortson (non-guaranteed) under contract next season at the PG position, are likely to lose Goran Dragic in unrestricted free agency, and have Sergio Llull at least another year away from coming over.

While I don't know if Craft projects within the range in which the Rockets are drafting, I could definitely see them taking a PG in this year's draft. Same with a SG (with Martin entering the last year of his contract and with Lee a restricted free agent).

 

The Rockets don't give a damn about positional needs anyway.

Did you see him stand there throwing his hands up, looking away from the play, waiting for a call, with time running out? Yup, lowry :grin:

 

He was shocked the refs for started the play before they were ready. By the time he is raising his hands there is only a second left. The whole team wasn't prepared to defend. They probably wanted to foul quick but Kansas ran over to get the ball and threw it in fast.

By the way who says Craft is leaving early. He seems like the type of kid who might stay all 4 years.
