Sure - academic students aren't on the same provisions as NCAA Athletes. They can get paid by boosters too, if boosters really wanted to pay for them for whatever reason. The scholarships that you get as an academic come with various terms & conditions, and the ones you get as an athlete come with terms and conditions. If you don't like the terms, you always have the choice to not accept the scholarship.
It's a ploy by the NCAA to make Braxton Miller start next season. I am just hoping next year we won't be like Texas.
I could live without it. I watch it, and I follow it to a degree. But the fact that there is no true champion is very unfulfilling. I know you have polls to determine a champion, but it's not the same as a real playoff. I'm already looking forward to March madness.
It's a small medallion in the shape of football pants that is given to the players if they win the Michigan game.
How does that help Michigan?? I said the suspensions were BS. And regardless the game between the two will happen after the suspensions are served anyways....
holy cow... Jim Tressel leaving Ohio State? Could this be true?!?!?!? http://www.chicagonow.com/blogs/daily-chicago-sports-tab/2010/12/jim-tressel-leaving-ohio-state.html
Expect Ohio State to get completely buttraped by sanctions next year... Pete Carrol was no dummy, neither is Tressel... the only thing more crooked than college football is the NCAA.
