That would be very best - do Cavs have a TE?

Snyder, K. for D.Jones (who is complaining about playing time).

Throw in Rafer, while they are at it....

    D.Jones is 40% from 3 point land, this season....career 38.7%

That's way more than Rafers FG%.

D.Jones is about 43% from field and career 40% shooter.

I say let them take him for a TE, and let the guy play before his best years are behind him.

I will trake Mike James for Pavlovic. European shooters will be alive under Adelman.

Depending on how desperate the Cavs are the Rockets could get a second round draft pick. Otherwise they could just go through with it as a favor to Snyder and save a few 100ks in the process.

The media have been suggesting Cavs have been trying to move Shannon Brown since the beginning of the season.

    Shannon Brown+Dwayne Jones for Snyder

Two out of rotation players exchanged for one. Rockets save around 500k.

Then again with Bonzi also a free agent they might like to keep Snyder as leverage in any dealmaking. Morey's also on a scouting trip in Europe, so maybe if he likes what he sees in Newley, then perhaps that could also be a factor?

Simmons and Brown for Snyder works on the RealGM. Simmons is an athletic PF (6-9 without shoes) -- a little light but very mobile. Simmons just turned 22 and still needs a lot of work (enter CD to teach big man moves). Brown is a slasher but not a shooter. However, if we utilize Threefer Novak's shooting touch, Brown makes Luther expendable.

No deal yet?! What are the Rockets waiting for. Throw in Rafer, James, and a ball boy. Do something. Get somebody that can shoot.

Pavlovic isn't exactly a shooter. James is probably better at shooting if he got consistent PT. Pavlovic adds athleticism and an attacking mentality. Something Snyder does at a lesser level. So I dunno.

Rockets would be adding salary in that scenario. Whoever the Rockets trade for they'll be scrubs. IMO the two things they will want back is expiring contracts and less salary.

Pavlovic is pretty solid last season - 45% FG% 40% 3P%. I love his size and his abilities to attack. Of course, Pavlovic can dunk the ball. I am tired of this team missing soft ass layups. European players are more suitable for Adelman's offense.

I will trade Kirk Snyder for Bostjan Nachbar too. Another reunion of ex-Rocket. ;)
