When I was driving home yesterday I heard Steve Fix say they are definately coming in late June. Who owns 93.7 and are they involved with the tour?

Also, wouldn't it take longer to hammer out the details at Toyota Center because they don't use ticketmaster?

It will be interesting to see what goes on if it's at Toyota Center (which I sincerely hope it will).

The Best Buy Rewards presale password is unique and one-time-use only. No Police presale will use a password that could be passed around to multiple people.

    Note to anyone getting uber-excited:
Hold off on buying into the Police Fanclub for the moment. As it stands, you pay $100 for access to a (single) presale of your choosing. However, you can also simply hop on ticketmaster during that same presale and add on the membership fee at the end. The Fanclub (a transparency of Sting.com) is running its side of the presale a bit backwards, forcing you to request/receive/enter a unique password before you can access the tickets. You can't request that password until the presale has begun. Sting.com doesn't normally have presales concurrent with a TM presale.

This has caused a justifiable uproar - giving a disadvantage to the fanclub instead of the general public.

I'll post again if something changes.

Not this week, but given how MSG, Canada, and Fenway went onsale (presale) the day after being announced, it's tough to say how much advance warning there will be.

I've already got lines out to people who will know sooner than most. I hope to hear something back.

I have a friend (who isn't a Police fan) that is going to buy the tix for me using his BB card. How good are my chances of getting good seats? There's no chance of it selling out if I buy with the Best Buy card, right?

Frankly, I don't care where I sit. Of course, I want to be as close as possible, but really I just want to make sure I'm THERE.

Just remember the guy who brought 16 people out to Rudyards that night. ;)

I'm still hoping that'll get me back in D&D one day. :D

It's really more of a crapshoot that you'll get tickets. Best Buy has seats scattered throughout (as does the fanclub, as does general ticketing), but has a pretty limited number of them. The fanclub presale has close to half the tickets, Best Buy (I believe) has closer to 10%.

No, they're not. Only the Best Buy tickets are gone.

Again, these aren't really presales. They are select tickets put aside to be purchased via Best Buy or via the fanclub in advance of the general on sale date. Leftover tickets (lol) from the presales get put with the general pile, but presales will not dip into the general pile. Sounds awfully confusing, but what I'm getting at is Best Buy has a couple thousand tickets in their hand for each show. Once their presale has hit that number, the presale ends.

So just keep checking ticketmaster for the general sale?

You're angling for the MSG shows?

Tomorrow at noon (East Coast, 11 am Houston) get on to try and grab tickets which you will be able to hold onto and purchase with the (later) addition of a $100 fanclub membership. Use Ticketmaster like normal to find the tickets, and they let you complete the purchase once you agree to tack on the $100.

Otherwise, take the cheaper and highly risky move of waiting until Tuesday (20th) to buy during the general onsale.

OK, can everyone in this thread agree to post something here AS SOON AS YOU HEAR IT about Houston tickets? Let's stick together so we can make sure we all end up with tickets, savvy?

In fact, let's all take an oath:

I, state your name (I, state your name) do hereby pledge allegiance to the bbs, with liberty and Police tickets for all. Amen.

Well, it was actually an Animal House reference, but Blazing Saddles is good too.
