On the Orlando game on TNT, they showed players who played with the Magic who wore #2.

You know before some of you pass judgement on Mad Max, you may want to know more of the story then the typical "Your a DeadBeat Dad" side.

You know whats just as disgusting as DeadBeat dads? Try System Cheating, Money hoarding, lying Women.

There is nothing but checks and balances to keep the payor (almost always the man) in line. There are far fewer checks and balances to keep the payee in line.

Some child support laws are written terribly, and lopsided. Some states allow Judges and special groups of lawyers to write their child support laws. Now if you have a problem with a law, its your right as a citizen to vote the person who implanted these laws out of office. You cant do this with Child support laws as I found out the hard way.

Too many people cry "dead beat" dad, Without realizing the other side of the story. For myself as a 20 year old kid, trying to do the right thing, I agree'd to pay child support for my son without any fight. Just to have the mother tell me later, that it was NOT my son. OOOPS too bad. I have to pay for my "son" till he is 18 or out of college, even though he isnt my son. My support currently stands at 850 dollars a month. Now Im not a rich man, I make about 50K a year. I have 2 kids at home. My child support has affected the way my children at home have to live. I cant understand for the life of me, how for my two kids at home Im alloted 350 in child support (an amount they take into consideration when setting your support- like saying what should you pay for support for your kids at home) yet my one child in PA should get 850?

Now, I had to make some radical changes in our lifestyles just to be able to survive. Dont laugh when I say I had to think about filing for state assistance for my OWN kids at home for Medical coverage. Currently my kids aged 5 and 4 do NOT have medical coverage, because I cant afford it. I had to rid myself of one car payment, my computer payment, baby sitting fee's (had to find a way to do it on my own with no baby sitter) just to be able to make my bills, and cant put my 4 year old in a pre school as I cant afford the 160/month cost. If I slipped into being behind month after month after month would this make me a "DeadBeat"? Is it fair that my wife now has to work two extra shifts a week just to help us make ends meet because of my new child support order? Or that her income helps determine how much I had to pay to my child in PA? The more she made, (to help cover bills due to my high child support) the more I had to pay to my child in PA because my calculated child support for my two at home kids became smaller. Does this make sense? Not to mention that PA allows companies to take 2 percent of my child support for Administration costs. So not only do I have to pay Child support, I have to pay any company I work for 2 percent extra. Is this fair?

Ill save the Dead Beat Dad label. Being that more women take advantage of the system then men. Try being me when I found out the mother of my "child" in PA quit her job right before our Child support hearing. So she could stay on Welfare, live in her free house, driving a car that the state helped pay for, and make my support larger.

Child Support laws suck. I dont even care If I have to pay for my "child" in Pa. Hey it kinda makes sense. Very slightly Ill add. But it sucks that Support laws are designed to suck the life out of the people who actually pay and pay in good faith.

And before I hear one person say, I could hold a hearing with all these circumstances, to reduce my support. Ill say I have. Twice, in fact. Lost both times with lawyers in hand. Im told to increase my income. Isnt that nice. Let me go get another Job, just so they can add support to that too.

That shocks the conscience. I saw a similar story on 60 minutes about a guy in West Texas, I believe, who had three kids during his marriage, only to find out after the wife left him that none of them were his. DNA tests proved they were all children of another man. Nonetheless, he was stuck paying support on them, because they were born during the marriage.

Were you married when you reached the agreement? Did you ever try to fight paternity after you found out the child was yours? What did your lawyers tell you about your chances?

It's not your son? Have you taken a paternity test?? A paternity test kills this. There is no other evidence in the world that's more dispositive than a paternity test. Did you lawyers suggest that?? Did they follow through with that?? You have no business paying for a child who isn't your child!

Paternity tests are moot at this point.

I can have a paternity test (at my great cost) and prove that the child is not mine, but Domestic Relations has already informed me that I would be responsible for paying for my "Son" regardless of outcome.

Their assesment was that since I made child support payments towards my Son, then from the moment I made my first payment I became responsible for his well being, regardless of weather or not I was the father and could prove otherwise. That the Child is most important and needed to be taken care of at all costs.

And No I was NOT married.

So to let you know how this could go ideally under Child support laws.

Dreamshakes Former Phycotic Girl: "Dreamshake, your a daddy"

Dreamshake: "Really, Wow I cant believe Im going to be a daddy, I want to do the responsible thing and take care of my obligation"

Dreamshakes Former Phycotic Girl: "Ok, well lets go to Domestic Relations and set up Child Support"

    Dreamshake: "Ok awesome"

    A few years later

Dreamshakes Former Phycotic Girl: "If you want to see your son anymore, you have to see me too" ***NO KIDDING I WAS TOLD THIS BY HER***

Dreamshake: "Well Im going to get a lawyer, and sue for Custody then"

Dreamshakes Former Phycotic Girl: "Go ahead Hes not even really your son anyhow"

Now my plight becomes, do I sue for custody anyhow even though I found out hes not my son? Would I be fair to him, if I did gain custody. And if not, would I be ruining his life?

    ****Here comes the hypothetical part****

Real father of my supposed son shows up and starts living with my supposed son and former girl. He NOW gets to live off of my 850 dollar a month child support payment...NO ****. Isnt that a fooking slap in the face?
