Dallas is going to prep us perfectly for the opener in Miami, seeing as how both teams have pretty no talent. :D

I still think Eddie gets the majority of the carries. Maybe I'm wrong about JJ (Julius Jones) but I don't see him as an every down back. Good 3rd down back, sure but for now I don't know.

I'm also confused by Richie Anderson and wheter he'll play RB or FB. I'm a big fan of Jamar Martin (the huge FB out of Ohio State) so I don't know how it will all shake out.

I'll admit I'm being a little optimistic about JJ being an every down back as opposed to just a 3rd down back. He probably needs to show that he can do a lot more things in these next two games to show that he can do it. However, I seem to remember Parcells saying that he could be comfortable with JJ getting a lot of time at RB and not really worrying about him missing blocking assignments, keeping the QB out of trouble. And everyone knows we can't have Vinny in trouble.

If JJ can show that he can do more than just run fast and get by some guys, such as getting 1st downs on those 3rd and 2-3 yardage area, catching passes, and blocking, he should have a pretty good shot at the position. Of course, if EG shows he can get more than 3 YPC, it won't really matter what JJ does. However, maybe these comments show that JJ is showing he can do many things that a starter should be able to do.

Sort of on-topic, but I read that in most preseason games the coaches don't really gameplan. It makes sense, and I should have known or guessed that, but it never really entered my mind all that much. Now running Reshard Lee 3 straight times in the middle during the 4th qtr of the last game makes sense. Whoever is running the ball, hopefully our coaching staff can help them out, using their strengths and hiding their weaknesses.

Since Titans vs. Cowboys is like watching Satan v Bin Laden for me, I may need to catch a movie on Monday.

No way the Titans get a shutout on the 'Girls. Titans D is not the group is used to be.
