In a teaser spot ESPN said they will say where Carlos Beltran is going and whether he was worth it, on Sportscenter.

Im sure that is a way to keep everyone in Houston, New York and Chicago tuned into ESPN. Then the come on and give their opinion on where they think he is going...and that will be there prediction. I have seen way tooooo many teaser by ESPN that keeps me tuned in for nothing....i am boycotting Teasers...

I didn't think it was as good the first one. I liked the dog-flush scene, but seeing "Babs" in bed with whipped cream on her boobs is an image that I will spend the rest of my life getting rid off. Yuk! Like being in bed with Rosanne. The stuff nighmares are made of.

peter gammons on espn news made it seem like boras is trying to get carlos to not accept the deal. He said after the astros are out of it boras feels the deals will get really high and the yanks and mets will fight for carlos

I'd rather see Bates AND Babs naked every day from April thru October for the next 7 years than Carlos in a Cubs uni

Beltran will make the decision, not Boras. I don't think Beltran is too dumb to know what is going on.

Maybe that's why there hasn't been many offers. Everyone figures Astros won't be able to sign Beltran by tomorrow.

 

If anything, I would think the complete opposite...if other teams think that we have a legit shot to keep him, they would have submitted offers so that he knows there is interest if he doesn't go to Houston

 

yeah i would agree with you. other offers that he would see from other teams would make him see that there are more possibilities if he wants to wait it out.

The only thing no offers shows me is that many believe that regardless of the offers that Beltran has his mind sort of set on certain teams or a team already and they don't want to waste their time.
