The Rockets blew a winnable game, not the refs. All Stars make their free throws!!! All Star guards don't dribble around the the court til the shot clock runs out! Could we have some ball movement, Please!! Mobley rocks, Willis with monster rebounding, and Griffin will be an All Star within three years. The last shot is why we have Rice, he blew it. Frustrating to watch. If the playmaking improves, we develop an inside game, and the shots start to fall, we will win games like this going away.

If u shoot 40% from the 3 pt line, percentage-wise, u miss more shots than u make, but it is still considered high percentage.

That was a piss poor call having Rice take the final shot!! He is no where near in the mind zone to make those shots right now. Francis should of had the ball, he could of take a few steps inside the 3 point line and had a better percentage shot to take.

I am being sarcastic, but if you want to get statistical on me - KENNY THOMAS IS SHOOTING 0000000%%%%%%% for the first 3 games of the season. Is that a high percentage?????? [/b]

the reason we didn't foul, was because we couldn't.

Brandon fooled the defense so bad, no one was within 5 steps of him, no use giving him a shooting foul. We probably couldn't have fouled him on the shot if we wanted to.

My bigger gripe, is why not put Cato/Griffin at the 4/5 on defense? Personally, for the last 14 seconds, I would've sent Cato, Willis, and Griffin out there as my front line, use Griffin to hold Wally Scz. and to challenge shots.

I would've prefered seeing Mo foul KG, than see KG squash KT like a bug.

Fouling on the Brandon's shot is NOT an option. There were 2 or 3 guys covering KG who was hot tonight and probably deserved the coverage, but I'll take getting beat by a defended player rather than a wide open opponent. Someone should have been on him to foul him immediately because of his history of giving our backcourt fits.

    Just got back.

#1. The Rockets lost the game. They had plenty of oppurtunities. Turnovers and bad shooting period.

#2. There was one ref who dogged our team the whole game. SF got hammered a few times with no calls. KW on a rebound got hammered and got knocked out of bounds, no call. The "ref" was terrible, but see #1, we had chances.

#3. Eddie's defense and rebounds are more important than KT or Walts offense. The offense was just icing on the cake and kept us in the game. 25-27 Minutes is good from now on, his presense on defense is very important to this team IMHO.

#4. Turnovers, turnovers, and turnovers. Your going to lose when you do this, especially in the fourth. Mooch? Question: if he's not handling the ball in the fourth, why is he in the game? He's not the best shooter, not a rebounder. I'm just wondering.

#5. Rice & Walt, I dunno  . Yes only 3 games, but  . Rice is not under-rated on defense. Is going to be more than a jumpshooter now, you tell me.

#6. Do we think "boos" help Cato. Is that constructive :D ? Before he even played a second the crowd was dogging him.

#7. Was Griffin on the floor on that last defensive possesion? My eyes were fixed on the ball but I didn't think he was. Was he?

Anyways I probably did some ranting above but that's what watching a game makes you do. Overall it was very entertaining other than the many "stupid" turnovers. It's amazing we were even in this game the way we threw the ball away. Eddie, Eddie, Eddie - he is really going to be something, the way he moves, defending the pick and roll, sweet.

The most frustrating part of this game, to me, was the many missed opportunities near the end. On 2 or 3 consecutive possessions, Steve and Moochie either had the ball stolen or Moochie passed the ball out of bounds. This was when the game was tied. We can't throw away chances at taking a lead against a team like the Wolves in crunch time. Our guys need to play smarter than that.
