Officiating and FTA in Harden Era (Last 4 Postseasons)

Quite honestly I am scoreboard watching most days, just watched the End of the Last game in which Russell Westbrook literally lose his All Star talent and threw the game away.

If Russell Westbrook doesnt have speed and athleticism. He has no Point Guard IQ in a half court set.

 

Look, I too recognize the Thunder are solid at not fouling. In fact I think they gave up the 2nd fewest FTs per game in the regular season, though that was still 19 a game, not the 16 in this series.

BUT... BUT... if you're watching this series, what you asked for is completely unnecessary. Lou Dort fouls Harden EVERY possession he guards him. Gets up under him. Bodies him. Etc. Its a situation where Harden's "beefiness" is working against him. There was a point in Game 6 where Dort picked up a foul on one of these plays - why? because Harden had to exaggerate the f' out of it and fall over.

It's not flopping. It's a foul, everytime, that's just not called.

Tbf, there are fouls missed both ways. But its clear which way the FT line bias is this series.

Darius Bazely shot 6 FTs in Game 6. Schroeder shot 7 FTs in Game 4. Gallinari shot 8 FTs in Game 3 and 9 in game 1. SGA shot 11 FTs in Game 2.

Eric Gordon has shot 8 total FTs in the last 4 games. He drives 75% of the time.

We don't need to forensic analysis this.

It is what it is. They ARE NOT going to give the Rockets FTs this series. Figure out a way to win otherwise.
