All about expediting Zhou's development. They want him in the rotation by the playoffs.

Migos was living in the dish for years because of Jeremy Lin
That dude doesn’t know where Houston is on a map of Houston

But not really a good 3 point shooter
    1-5

The stats will tell the truth, let him play a good amount of games in the G league to see if we are going to send him to shoot against Klay and Steph on All Star Weekend

    Yes.

My summer league video shows exactly what I saw.. the tallest dude on the court camping at 3 point line waiting to jack it up.

The whole irony of this is that I told @heypartner that I would be there at Summer League, but he didn't go.
I was there with my other brother @The_Yoyo

My point, CLUTCHFANS was there, not just me.

Are you telling me if a 21 year-old 7'3 kid from Congo with the longest wingspan in the NBA was on the team and he was shooting 3s, blocking shots, and can run and chew gum at the same time, people wouldn't be Just a little intrigued? Seriously?

Also, why would an American from Texas be hyped about someone coming from China? Or are suggesting everyone in this thread and other Zhou Qi threads are all Chinese?

I am hopeful that we have some great luck w. Zhou Qi. If he turns out like Capela then we will win a title sooner or later and be in contention for years. If he gets stronger he can definitely block shots and looks like he will soon become a good three point shooter. Already a good free throw shooter. Who knows about rebounding in the future. This would suggest that his future is as a three ball center.

My one concern is that he somehow seems not to know what is going on at times on the court and or is a bit uncoordinated at least as a forward. I sort of feel that this may turn out to be the main thing that keeps him back. However, challenges with language and cultural adpatation may be making this look like a greater problem than it is.

If his weight was 200lb and his shoulder width was narrower than my own, then you're damn straight I'd be in Wait-and-See Mode. Prior to his tenure as a Rocket, Joe had one season in the CBA where he shot 36% from the international 3pt line. Kyle Wiltjer had four seasons at Kentucky and Gonzaga where he shot 42% for his career from the college 3; granted, he did not put up star-level usage rates until his senior year. I believe our enthusiasm for Wiltjer last year was appropriate. We were reserved but definitely kept tabs upon his RGV stats. At least I did. To me Joe is no different. He's a prospect at this time, nothing more.

What we weren't excited when 7 foot Lithuanians were jacking up 3s ?
I think we were, but nobody threw out the notion we were against Lithuania when we criticized his shooting

I didn't like when Corey Brewer jacked up 3s, that doesn't mean I don't like players who played for Florida!

You know the truth is people are so attached to Zhou is that they think he's Yao and Porzingis's b*stard son.

At summer league, I was thinking about his potential and then he started throwing up brick after brick after brick.

So I'm hesitant to call him Yao-zingis

I'm calling it now. Zhou Qi makes our 26th three tonight in garbage time to set the NBA record.

    When NBA records collide ....

Look I know this dude has potential

Zhou - taken Xinjiang Flying Tigers to a championship

Tracy McGrady - couldn't get his Chinese team to qualify for the playoffs!!!
