I honestly didnt think he hurt himself that badly based on what I saw at that moment because he pulled up as soon as he felt something, so I realized he couldnt have hurt it more than the initial twinge he must have felt. Ive seen plenty of sports injuries (much worse than a strain) where the player pushes through or makes some effort...Im not asking for Valbuena to do cartwheels to first...at least look up and try to drag yourself until the play is over. He gave up 100%...and usually the gamers like Correa/Altuve/Springer dont do that. Actually, I could assure you in that same position, they would at least lift their heads up to see the status of the play.
Yankees do this all the time, they're trash the first part of the season then come back and win their division or make the playoffs ! I can't stand them
Is it possiblen to underestimate a baseball opponent? Yankees aren't flashy but they came into this series going 6-4 against Boston, Baltimore, and SF. Before the break they took 3/4 from Cleveland.
i swear it feels like people just started watching baseball. win tomorrow and the home stand was an 4-2. this team is streaky always has.
Heh. Correa's total inability to hit LHP this year is frustrating and befuddling. He has 4 XBH against them this year in over 100 PAs.
The whole team against lefties is just pathetic. I don't get it. This team should kill lefties you would think.
