    Devo wasn't overworked.

    He threw 12 pitches.

    This is all on Hinch.

I’ll trust his management 9 times out of 10. Hindsight is always 20/20.

This was by no means a must win game but it would have been a ****ing feel great one. Hinch should have managed it as such and the obvious call was Devo.

Don't worry guys, we have our power hitting, elite LF up this inning! Absolutely no way he'll strikeout!

Yeah - I'm with you. That was LAST year, Hinch still can be judged for making stupid decisions and this one was absolutely ridiculous. I don't really blame him for the Giles thing the other night but going forward if he continues throwing Giles out there for save opps and doing dumb s*** like pulling Devo for Harris in a save opp after striking out the side in 12 pitches against the middle of one of the best lineups in baseball...I don't even really know what to say.

I think Hinch is a great manager but today he made a mistake. We needed to split this series and Devo should've been stretched for the way he was dealing.

    There is no hindsight.

Everyone knew bringing in Harris was a bad idea.

I trust the relationships he cultivates with his team, when it comes to strategic decisions he needs to let someone else make the call.

I'm usually the last guy to pile on the manager, but he ****ed up today.

Seriously, you can't blame Hinch for players not doing their jobs. Nobody says a thing if Harris gets 3 outs. This is squarely and solely on the pitchers who gave it up. If they can't do their jobs, then why are they even on the team?

What exactly did Hinch do last playoffs that was so smart ?

The bullpen completely sucked, so he inserted starters for long relief.

Games that featured more days off than regular season.

    Big whoop

Hinch strikes again. Just dumb going to Harris after Devo shut them down easily in the previous inning.

The manager's job is to put his players in the best possible situation for them to be successful. He did not do that.

I also don't understand why Bregman didn't go home on that grounder, I think he had the runner dead to rights.

No........ this is on the manager. He knew that Harris has struggled in the 9th in the past and he also knew that Harris has been shaky this season..... yet he pulled his best reliever who just struck out the side and only threw 12 pitches. Hell if he was dead set on pulling Devo, he should have gone to Peacock.

    This is on Hinch 100%.
