might as well start serving the freaking grasshoppers at mmp.

 

I am not worried about the offense. Too many good hitters in the lineup. I am worried about Keuchel staying terrible.

 

Keuchels velo is a bit concerning.

 

Here is a telling stat about how mediocre or bad this Astros offense is.... the Astros have played 31 games this season.

In 10 of the 31 games the Astros have scored 1 run or less.

 

When your team scores 1 or less runs 33% of the games it plays; you should be worried.

Tonight's game makes yesterday even worse.

Meh, Keuchel has pitched a decent game all things considered. Just this damn anemic offense, but of course they’re going to erupt against a mediocre pitching team again and we will all convince ourselves again that the offense is fine

The game offense isn’t fine. The line up worked well last year because the line up had quality hitters with few holes. Gattis and Marwin hit. This year we have a DH and LF hitting below .200 and Marwin is meh.

 

Odd to think that even as the defending champs who had an all-time offense last year, I still expect a Houston team to waste a 1st and 2nd no out situation. It was almost a certainty that the wouldn't score a run there.

 

I agree with you. It seems our offense was able to hit the eite pitching last year but this hasn’t been the case at all this year.

 

Keuchel wasn’t terrible. It’s impossible to win if you don’t score.

 

There are about 4 guys in our lineup that haven’t been able to hit any pitching period.

 

What a let down

 

Damn disappointing. Lack of offense.... Yankees are our daddy this series....
